The County Commissioners make up the Executive Branch, which is responsible for the day-to-day operations of county government, in both fiscal and policy matters .Each Commissioner represents a District and all the towns and city in that District:

The mission of the County Attorney’s Office is to provide professional and ethical prosecutorial services for the people of Rockingham County with the ultimate goals of achieving justice for victims of crime and reducing crime and recidivism.

County Attorney: Pat Conway

The Registry of Deeds is the office that processes information as it relates to the selling and buying of real property. It is a public office open to the legal profession and general public for researching the records. In addition to deeds, mortgages, liens and attachments, there are many other types of documents pertaining to land records filed with the Registry, for example, covenants for developments, by-laws for condominium associations, etc. Plans of surveyed/subdivided property are also found in the records.

It is the mission of the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office to enforce the laws of the State of New Hampshire and the United States of America, faithfully and impartially; and to provide public safety services for the citizens, businesses, and other Law Enforcement Agencies within our jurisdiction, emphasizing professionalism, cooperation, competence and integrity, in order to foster a partnership which will preserve and improve the quality of life in Rockingham County.

County Sheriff: Charles Massahos

The County Treasurer is an elected position covered under Chapter 29 of the New Hampshire RSAs. The Treasurer issues the annual tax warrant to each of the municipal units for their portion of the tax levy, maintains custody of all funds, and obtains the necessary authorization to borrow funds when needed.
